While many in my profession have made a quick buck or two pitching everything from automobiles to deli sandwiches, this letter marks the first time that I have lent my name- in any way shape or form to a local product. I have had numerous opportunities since coming to the Chargers in 1983, but I never had the complete confidence to stand behind a product or service, and put my reputation on the line with a whole-hearted endorsement.

Until now.

After stumbling around for thirty-eight years with 200/400 vision, I now find myself gliding gracefully (not easy for an old linebacker) through my daily routine. I am now the proud owner a couple of 20/15 eyeballs(translation:better than perfect). So I'm forwarding my rather sizeable collection of rather powerful glasses and contact lenses to the head of officiating in the National Football league.

Additionally, after spending the majority of my life playing a game that demands teamwork, I am especially impressed by the synergy that exists at the Laser and Rk Eye center. Your staff is friendly and caring not to mention skilled and efficient.

I had a special concern heading into the procedure that I thought might preclude me as a candidate. In 1989, an over-zealous offensive guard stuck his right index finger about three knuckles deep in my left eye. As a result, my iris cannot adjust to changes in light, as it should. My worries were over after my initial consultation. The amount of education I received while talking with you and your expert staff removed any trepidation that I may have had.

In closing I just want to thank you again for the miracle you performed on my eyes. The clarity and brilliance that I experience on a daily basis amazes me.
